Battery Group Details:

The single C-Cell battery contains an amount of Lithium which puts them in a transport category that requires extra, costly logistic handling and fees which render them economical end-of-life. The 3xAA-Cell battery has a lesser amount of lithium which puts them in a transport category that requires a minimum of extra logistic handling besides another type of labelling and packing slip which declare that there are Lithium batteries of category II inside.

Because the lesser amount of Lithium in the 3xAA-Cell, the expected life-time is 85% of the old C-Cell. This could influence your plant maintenance schedules.

The ordering code (PB / PC) will remain the same. The old C-Cell can seamlessly be replaced with a new 3xAA-Cell battery at our D-, E- and F1-Series. For our installed base F0-Series you’ll require a retrofit battery clamp when you want to ensure a shock-proof installation in dynamic applications.
